Social Media Design
SPAM is the iconic canned meat brand of Hormel Foods Corporation. For the brand, which actively uses social media, content was created to strengthen its presence on social platforms, increase awareness and user engagement, and support upcoming product launches. The content was designed with a balanced approach between visuals and text, prepared to drive interaction on the platforms.
While working at Pound and Grain agency, my role in this project was to develop creative and engagement-focused content for TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook that highlighted SPAM products. Additionally, planning and executing social media designs for the Maple SPAM launch was also among my responsibilities.

Brand in Focus
To help users see the message SPAM wanted to convey more clearly and to highlight brand awareness, we focused on creating TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook designs with backgrounds featuring two main brand-identifying colors, blue and yellow. In the prepared posts and stories, priority was given to using the visuals provided for SPAM. This ensured that the products were presented in harmony with the brand, keeping the food and the product itself at the forefront.






Key Takeaways
In this project, I experienced how creating content tailored to each platform’s dynamics, while maintaining a strong brand identity, can significantly increase awareness and engagement on social media. I learned that striking the right balance between color, visuals, and messaging helps communicate the brand’s story more clearly and memorably. I also saw how planning and rapid execution in launch-driven work are critical to building a consistent and impactful social media presence.
