Mazda is a premium Japanese automotive brand positioned globally with its high performance and design philosophy. For 2025, new visual shoots were carried out to highlight the interior and exterior designs of selected vehicle models. With these updated visuals, the goal was to deliver a premium and impactful web experience in January that emphasizes the details of selected models for users.
For the Mazda Vehicles section planned to be published in January 2025, the homepages and content of the Mazda 3, Mazda 3 Sport, CX-50, CX-5, and CX-90 models were updated with the new visuals. Ensuring responsiveness was a priority, and the images were resized to fit desktop, tablet, and mobile screens. The selected visuals were refined to align with the copy; by maintaining color balance and visual hierarchy, a cohesive and compelling user experience was created.
To work closely with the Mazda team and creative leadership, I took an active role in updating the homepages and different sections of the five selected vehicle models with the new visuals. Throughout the project, I focused on maintaining visual consistency, paying close attention to detail, and strongly reflecting Mazda’s premium brand perception in the digital experience.
Curated top visuals
Based on the new visuals produced from the 2025 photoshoots, I played an active role in the visual design refresh process of the homepage and key pages for various Mazda models. By carefully selecting the images that best reflected Mazda’s premium brand identity, I aimed to strengthen the website with visuals that effectively highlighted both interior and exterior design details.

Consistency Across Devices
To maintain visual hierarchy, the selected images were resized in Photoshop for desktop, tablet, and mobile screens and placed according to the required dimensions, ensuring visual consistency across all platforms. Afterwards, an interactive Figma prototype for both desktop and mobile was created in collaboration with creative directors to evaluate transitions, color harmony, and overall layout consistency.

Key Takeaways
During this project, I learned how visual selection and visual consistency directly influence brand perception; how aligning visuals with copy strengthens the message and makes the user experience more impactful. I also experienced that responsive design is not just about adapting to screen sizes, but about preserving the right framing, visual hierarchy, and impact across different devices.
